How popular are these names by you. I do not have children so I can't really say how popular they are here, but according to VA's SSA website, they aren't too overplayed.
Blake
Cole
Hudson

I know a few Blake's, but I personally don't know any little boys named Cole or Hudson. I'm sure that will change as my boys get older and participate in more group activities though. My favorite on your list is Hudson. That name was on my list, but my DH didn't like it.

I know none, but I have a limited number of children under the age of 10 that I do know.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I've been a teacher in kindergarten and 1st grade for 6 years and I've only known 1 Cole and I don't think ever any Blakes or Hudson's. I like all three names.
In the past 10 years I have taught in various settings, schools, grade levels, and subjects, plus being in my current spot for 5 years. I have not had ANY of these as students. I also only know 1 Blake, and he is in his 40s. I like the names you have and don't think any are too popular.
I believe that the popularity of names is very regional!
I find Cole and Colten are gaining popularity, Hudson is my favourite boys name (can't get DH to go for it) and Blake has really crossed into the unisex name category.
I know a couple of Blake's (under the age of 6), My oldest son's (age 6) middle name is Cole, and my two year old name is Hudson. I had never heard of anyone named Hudson and now I seem to hear it everynow and again. I love all 3 names...........Hudson is probably my fav out of the three but I could be a lil' bias :O)
I do have to tell you though that everytime someone hears his name they say how much they love it!
I work at a Children's Hospital and I hardly ever see any Blakes, Coles, or Hudsons. There are other names that are much, much more popular... Aiden, Jack, Tyler, Mason...
I have subbed in a large elementary school/kindergarten recently. I only knew 1 Blake, a few Cole's, and several Hudson's, but compared to other names, they are not incredibly common.
Love the name hudson, but I always try to think of nicknames or what it would get shortened too... hud? just something to consider but I do like the name.
I graduated high school with a Blake, still like that name...my neighbor named her DS Kole, 6 mos old, and don't know any Hudsons. I agree with the pp about the nickname.
Being and Elementary School teacher I hear a ton of names. I do have a few Blake's, Cole's, and Hudson's though Cole is the most popular out of the three.
I love all 3 of those names! I think they are common enough that people hear them and won't be surprised or puzzled , but they are rare enough that your little guy probably won't be in a classroom FULL of boys with his name.
Our 3-year-old daughter is named Emma Kate. In 2006, when I named her after my hubby's grandmother, I thought we were being somewhat original... and then Emma was the #1 girls' name for that year and the next 2 after that! haha... But I wouldn't change her name for the world... I love it and it suits her. So, in the end, you have to pick the name you LOVE.
All are great names! If you love them, don't worry too much about it! We are naming our little guy (due April 23rd) William (after his great-grandpa) and Blake for a middle name because William Blake is my favorite poet! As long as it is meaningful for you and people don't have to ask three times how to spell it, it shouldn't matter!
I don't know any Blake's or Hudson's but my son's name is Cole (he's 2) and I recently learned of an old HS classmate who also named her son Cole. Seems like I'm hearing this name more although I only personally know 2.

I know of two small Hudsons...one is about 2 and one is due next month.
Make a pregnancy ticker
I know of a Hudson due in mid-June. I really like Cole, cos I've never met one.
