My RE automatically put me on prometrium after my IUI, so I don't know what my levels would have been without it. However, after 8 weeks they took me off.
I am pretty sure there have been some women on SAIF that have gone on progesterone supplements and had healthy babies.
Firstly, congratulations. Please don't take what I'm about to say in a mean or snarky way.
I think asking for people's opinion only if they had a healthy pregnancy is crass. TW was on metformin and progesterone in her first tri and had a healthy pregnancy until she got an infection that had nothing to do with low progesterone.
Many people have low progesterone and are given supplements throughout their first trimester and do not miscarry.
Umm... I was on both. I went into labor because of an infection, nothing related to being on the met or progesterone (although I was off both for about 11 weeks when I went into labor).
I was on both. Labor didn't happen because of it, or because I was off of it. Your doctors will monitor you and make sure you have the healthiest pregnancy possible.
I have wondered the same thing about progesterone, so please don't feel bad about asking. Maybe it wasn't worded properly but I understood your intentions. I worry about the same thing.

Not offended. I just wanted to respond...

Congratulations, again!

It makes for cuter babies. My sister had low progesterone and her son is AMAZING!
