I joined another board. Its much more friendly & helpful.

I would never leave my local girls though, they are awesome here

i posted over there until we really got this board up and running.  I felt bad asking so many questions on the nest board.

And that makes me nuts...Sometimes I'll go to post a question, and then I just won't because I don't want the backlash that some of the questions get from time to time.  It's a message board about babies, if I want to ask a question I should be able to and not feel intimidated.  grrrr...

Oh my goodness yes. I was JUST thinking this. I was on the 2nd tri boards & the women just tear each other up! way too much drama. I guess us upstate NY gals are just more even keeled (or just nicer?).

We are nicer.  And alot of us have been posting for a couple years on the Upstate NY nest board.  So we know each other.  And the different regions have GTGs.

Once I saw that people were posting on this board, I pretty much abandoned the national one. I go back every now and then to lurk, but I feel like if you don't post there all the time, you're bound to be ignored or flamed.

I stopped posting on a certain board that I really like but it was elitist and man did I get flamed. I look back on it now and read some of the current posts when I lurk and I just have to shake my head at how stupid so many people are. Really makes you wonder how some of these people are in real life....it always scares me if they are anything like their persona's online.
