There is an article on Politico today that Obama's staff is already working on the 2012 campaign. We're not even to midterm elections yet!
It bothers me that politicians are just campaigning constantly. Stop worrying about the next election and do your damn jobs for a few years.
If you did your jobs well, you wouldn't need to campaign for 48 months.
I'm not targeting Obama or his White House specifically. I am just sick of campaigns lasting 4 years. Senators do it. The party not in power does it. Mayors, governors, etc...everyone is always campaigning.
It annoys me.

I totally agree. Can you imagine if it worked this way in real life? You get a raise, work for a few months, then campaign for the rest of the year to get another good review and raise.
This. It infuriates me that they start campaigning again right off the bat. We did not elect someone to campaign, we elected a president to run the country.
