Hello ladies, can I pop over here and ask a question? We're starting to ttc number two, and DS will still need to be in a stroller for quite a while yet. I really enjoyed having him face me for a long time when he was tiny. Are there any doubles in the US (side-by-sides or front-and-backs) that allow the younger baby to face you? I'd prefer it if it didn't involve a car seat, as we do live in teh UK, so most US strollers (even if we can convince my mom to bring them over) won't be compatible with our UK carseat. I'm okay with a bassinet option, though.
Thanks!
Re: rear-facing doubles?
The Baby Jogger City Select gives you the option to have the baby rear-facing in either a basinet or seat (or carseat).
The Bumbleride Indie Twin has a carycot that looks like it may be able to rear-face. (and they have a site for the UK...may be available there!)
The Kolcraft Contours is arranged similar to the BJ City Select.
These are just a few I knew of off the top of my head, I'm sure there are others!
I think there are a couple double "joggers" that can take a bassinet attachment so that would sort of be rear facing... not that I can remember their names at this point. We have gone with the Ergo Caboose and a BOB dualie but we need the carseat attachment big time over here. I can totally understand why you don't care about it in the UK (never having used it there myself even when we did drive somewhere).
