Honoring Dolores...

Hey everyone. No baby yet, but since ttc I've been trying to come up with a good way to honor my mother and grandmother. They are both named Dolores. The problem is, i really don't like the name . My mother goes by Dee 95% of the time. I'm just not sure how that will sound in the middle name spot. I've also been thinking about either Deeanne (my middle name is Anne) or Deanna. What do you guys think? Any other ideas? Thanks!

My middle name is Danielle and I am naming my daugther Daniella.

I adored my grandmother who was also a Dolores.  We named DD Lola which was one of my grandmother's NN.  You can give them a D name to still honor her.

Deeanne and Deanna are both really pretty names. I think using a part of it is a neat and unique way of honoring someone. DH and I plan to do the same if we have a girl.

My sister is named after our Grandma Delores, and her name is Dorie. She loves it.

I also have a friend named Delores who goes by Dorrie.

My Aunt Dolores goes by "Dora."

I don't know if you can separate that from "the Explorer," but if you can, it's pretty cute.
