Who had Group-B Strep?

I don't know if I had it or not. My LO came earlier than expected, but all they did was give me antibiotics when I was in labor. So it's really no big deal.

I did with Milo.  I just had to get an IV with antibotics while in labor.  It really isn't a big deal.

My aunt had it.  She was put on a low grade antibiotic for the duration of her pregnancy.  Zero complications.  My beautiful cousin is now... 13?

I did! Long story short, I got to the hospital at 2 am. They had a hard time getting an IV in me (b/c that's the way I am), and I only got 1 dose of penicillin in me (you're supposed to have 2 before the baby is born) befor he was born at 5 am. Colin is fine though. The pedi @ the hospital said 1 dose = 95% chance baby won't get it, 2nd dose = 99% chance.

I did not have it...but, my BFF did. She had to have, at minimum, four hours of IV antibiotics before giving birth. Besides that, no big deal, at all!

Me!  I had IV antibiotics before having DS and he was great after delivery and is still doing well. HTH

Same here.  No big deal.  I was glad to have the IV already in because when I started power puking during transition, the pumped me full of fluid through the IV and it was heavenly.  I've never had any symptoms or anything to know I had group B strep either.  Sort of random.
