First time back at hockey last night

It has been a while since I played. First I went to Cuba so I missed 2 games. Then we had a long break for the holidays and the first game back I was working.

Then I got my BFP and after a long discussion with D, we decided that the sport was just a little too rough for me to continue and that if anything ever happened I would never forgive myself. So I lied to the girls and told them I had a back injury that needed time to heal.

After my m/c I missed a few more games because I wasn't emotionally ready to be around a bunch of people and I knew that I would be taking out my rage on all the innocent girls who skated within 4 feet of my stick.

Last night I made my return to the ice. The game was alright, only one friend on the team knows why I had a lengthy absence. The rest of the girls all told me they were glad to have me back. I just kept thinking "I wish I wasn't back" I love the sport but me playing again is yet another reminder that there is not longer someone occupying my ute.

Felt good to get some exercise though.
