Wow, she is good

My older DD who will be 4 in June goes to a speech class every Monday morning.  My FIL, who is retired, picks her up from preschool, takes her to speech (2 hours) adn then back to daycare since DH and I both work FT.

We were at my ILs house last night and she someone (I was in the other room) got my FIl to bring her M&M's when he picked her up for today.  He took her 3 and she was thrilled.  He decided to bring her 3 more for the drive back to preschool. She told him she didn't want them - a friend in her class had brought her a lillipop for Valentine's Day (they didn't have class last week) adn she told my FIL "Grandpa I can eat this now, Mommy would be fine with it".  The kicker is that my FIL let her eat the lollipop.  She was going back to preschool to have lunch!

Funny thing is I was not thrilled about the M&M's but whatever, it was 3 candies so I didn't say anything.  FIL knows I limit the candy treats but he didn't even hesitate to let her eat the lollipop.

I just love how she told him that I would say it was OK and FIL told me she was being so sweet that he couldn't say No!!
