What would or do you pay your nanny/sitter?  We are looking for someone to watch the girls (just the twins) on Friday's from 7-4.  I have no idea what the going rates are?  What do you pay? TIA

We pay our part-time nanny $10/hour.   She's a college student.

 Although, I know when I was looking at nanny agencies, the rates ranged from $12-$18/hour, with the average being $15/hour.

i think its different depending on where you live. I teach kindergarten in a fairly wealthy town and babysit a lot. The going rate here is 15$-20$ an hour.  But like I said it varies... Personally, I would never want to pay 20$ an hour for a sitter but I would definatly say no less than 15.

I think it's $15-20/hour for twins where I live.

We pay our nanny 80$ per day.  A typical day for her is from 7:30 to 5:30.

It varies widely by area. In this area, probably anywhere from $8-12/hr would be normal.
