So I took #1 ice skating last weekend for the first time.

It was just the two of us so I didn't bring my camera, but a kind family took a few pictures of J and I ice skating and they never emailed them to me.

I didn't actually expect them to, but it would have been nice.

Oh well.

How did he do?  My mom wants me to take M ice skating and I think she's too young.  Maybe not?

They have these walker things that scoot around on the ice in front of them, so that's helpful.

But, he and I went around once and he was all done.  I went around by myself and then we left.

When MH asked him if he had fun he said "No, not so much."  Ha ha ha!

My DD didn't love ice skating but she really liked roller skating!  I think she felt more secure on 4 wheels instead of the blade.

DD1 went a couple of weekends ago and LOVED it. We just got her normal one-blade skates and held her hands. She'll be three at the end of April. She did great and liked it much more than I thought she would - she's a girl that's very cautious with her safety.
