Holy Cow he is strong!!!

I have been feeling kicks from the outside for about a week now. My DF finally felt them a few days ago which made me super super happy! We were just laying in bed and he had is hand on my belly and our LO, Mathieu, kicked and my DF asked if it hurt... I got to thinking and though it doesn't exactly hurt (yet) it does kind of knocks the wind out of me sometimes because the kicks are pretty strong... (strong enough to knock my Blackberry off my belly!!) Is this normal for how far along I am? I feel like I am going to have an Allstar Soccer player!!!

I am just getting strong movements. Its normal. They will vary too. DS was so active and strong and he came out the same way--always kicking! Now that hes walking he is a runner! I played soccer for 13 years so I joke he takes after me.

Our little girl is strong too.  When I put my hand over my belly to feel her move I push down slightly to get a better effect and several times she has kicked so hard that my hand moves.  I can see her moving from the outside every day now (which totally freaks DH out LOL) and while I'm at work I can see my belly dancing around from the bottom of my vision.  Its really strange sometimes, but I am just so glad that I have the opportunity to feel her every day and on a consistent basis.  Congrats on your little boy!

If you have an Allstar soccer player, at least you and DF will be set for life

I've heard of kicks this strong early on, so I don't think it's necessarily abnormal. LO will kick me and will move the book that I have rested on my belly a little bit, but nothing major. I can't wait to see it from the outside!

Totally normal.

My baby has been kicking off my iphone for a few weeks now and DS isn't a fan of cuddling too close to my belly for too long as he get rapid fire kicks.

I wish my girl would kick me a little harder some days!  She's being a perfect lady, I guess. Little kicks whenever I eat, but nothing major.
