If you've used or are using accupuncture during an ivf cycle, when did you use it during the actual cycle? Our first cycle is happening much quicker than I expected, so I'm limited on time (we start stims next Saturday). Some of the info I've found says it's most important right before and after transfer, but I know others have used it for longer than that. I'm feeling a little lost and would appreciate any info!
Re: Accupuncture: when to use during cycle?
I go once a week. It works best when you go regularly so you might think about starting regular appointments. Besides that, I went right before ER and right before and after ET.

Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
I started acupunture after my first ivf cycle was cancelled and converted to a flare protocol. The next ivf cycle I had 10 eggs compared to 4 with the first cycle. I do think that the acupuncture helped increased my follicles. I also went before and after the embryo transferred. Unfortunately I did not get pregnant. Next time I think that I won't go after the transfer but definatley before.
I totally believe in the treatment and have started going again...if anything it is a great stress relief.
My benefits from work pay for up to $500 in acupunture treatments, so i would look into any help like that...All these treatments are not cheap and they add up quickly
Good Luck
