Want to name my baby? I need ideas!

We don't know if we are having a boy or girl, but I suspect boy (we won't find out ahead of time).

Any ideas for names that go with Andrew and Heather? It must be:

1. traditional with normal spelling (unique spelling drives mr bonkers!)

2. more than one syllable, we have a one syllable last name and my DH doesn't like one syllable names with it

That is it, have fun!

Rebecca- mom to 3 kids: DS born 2005, DD born 2007 and DS born 2010.

  • Evan, Ethan, Kyle, Cole
  • Boys: Ryan, Evan, and Dylan are my favorites

    Girls: Evelyn, Coralie, Emily...

  • I'm partial to Alexander because the nickname also has more than one syllable (we also have a one-syllable LN). My DH is Andrew and my DS is Alexander.

Our next one is going to be Nathaniel, but we'll call him Nate. We decided the one syllable nickname isn't such a big deal since we both love that name.

I have cousins named Ryan and Ian, so those were out for us, but I really like both those names.

    HTH!
