Anyone have a FLIP camera?

Do you like it? What model do you have? My video camera doesnt let me email videos and I heard the FLIP was really easy.....

Re: Anyone have a FLIP camera?

  • yes, and I absolutely LOVE it!!! I'm not sure which one exactly.. it's HD, I know that much..

It is so easy to use and upload and share videos! I mean, my 2 year old could probably do it, it's that easy ;) All our old videos are still on our old camcorder. But with the FLIP, I take a video and have it on my computer and shared w/ family across the world in like 5 minutes. I love it :)

And I love the sharing feature where you just make a folder/group and click and drag whatever videos you want into there and it automatically shares it (emails) those people. Super easy!

  • It's pretty easy to use.  The only thing I don't like is you can only film about an hour at a time and then you have to clean off the memory.

Not that I need to film that much, but if it hasn't been cleaned off, you may not be able to capture what you want without filling it up.

It does make e-mailing and posting video to the web easy.

  • We have the FLIP Mino HD and we LOVE it.  It's super easy to use and very small so that it fits nicely in a purse or diaper bag.  Several of my friends have the new FLIP Ultra HD and they have had a lot of problems with it.
  • not sure which model we have but i absolutely love it. its small and super easy to use!
  • I don't, but I want one! How much are they??

    ?

Well that is a dumb question.. I'm off to google to?compare prices ;)??

  • I have one and love it. I LOVE that you don't have to wait for batteries to charge in order to use, the way you would with most camcorders. We had it out of the box and running to record Gavin's first Christmas in 3 minutes. I got mine off of Amazon and it came with batteries...takes 2 AA. I highly recommend it.
  • We got one for Christmas (Ultra HD).  I love it!  It's super easy to use, and it's easier to tote around than a camcorder.
