Wow! I'm blown away in a really great way!

I had mentioned that Ryan's cousin let me have first picks of about 12 boxes of baby clothes (newborn to 18 months) and we chose about 230 items, plus a Bumbo chair with tray and a baby bath.

Well, I was a little freaked waiting for her answer on what it would cost us. Mostly everything is brand new and really super adorable. I wasn't expecting it to be free and I guessed somewhere around $3-500 considering the brand names and condition of the clothing.

$180! That's it! We have every single article of clothing she will need until she's nearly two years old. And that's not including grandmothers going nuts, gifts and little things here and there.

Then she asked me if I was ok with the price I just smiled and said "it's way better then we deserve. That you SO much!".

It was so incredibly generous of her. If she took all of this to Once Upon a Child she could have easily made hundreds.

I'm in mommy bliss right now.

Indeed. i'm hoping to join a mommy group in Fargo that does baby clothing swaps etc. If not, I wil create one.
