I know that it's possible for a 3 month old to be teething - does anyone have any experience w/ this? My LO has been a very easy baby - now he's 3.5 months old and all of a sudden he's super cranky every night from about 5-7pm when I can finally get him to eat he passes out. He used to sleep for 6-7 hours at this stretch and then up every 3 hours till a few times until 9am. Now he's been up every 1.5 to 3 hours all night every night for over a week.
The thing is - he is VERY drooly and sucking on his hands/fingers BUT we also travelled for 5 days and this all started right after we got home. AND he seems to have come down with a cold the last 3 nights he's been coughing/sneezing and snotty/stuffy. UGH. He does NOT have a fever - but it seems like there are a million things that could be bothering him right now!
Any ideas? He's perfectly happy in the daytime - although I notice he's struggling to go down for naps and that didn't used to be an issue. Then right around 5 he gets angry and fusses/cries/screams/refuses to eat for an hour or two. Help!
Re: 3 month old teething? Sick? The perfect storm? WTH?!
Sounds like my DS! I think it's a combo of a little early teething, a cold, and a possible growth spurt. I think there is a growth spurt around 3-4 months.
Good Luck!
OMG CUTE BABY!!!! They're about the same age too - I guess we're all going through the growth spurt? This one seems so much worse than the others - maybe because the babies are much more aware of their surroundings, etc.?
