Rainbow cleaning system?

We had a sales rep come last night to show us a demo (did this only as a favor to a friend) and while we were impressed with the way it cleaned...it is outrageously priced.

Does anybody have one of these or know enough about them?

    My mom and aunt had one. I think they probably had them for about 15 years before they replaced them.

    My mom still has theirs and it works well. I dont know if the one you were demo 'ed is still as big as the previous ones, but my mom doesnt want to replace it.

    Honestly, we looked at a bunch of vacuums and ended up deciding that a professional cleaning once every 2 years and a vacuum with incredible suction for less than $500 is the way to go.  I didn't think the other ones were that much better.

    Did some more research and think I will stick to probably getting a Dyson in the future. Thanks for the responses!
