Is your 3 year old too busy to enjoy anything?

I guess I just assumed every kid was like this, but it's really starting to drive me crazy.  It seems like my DD never stops to enjoy anything because she is too worried about the next thing.  We go to the zoo and all she wants to do is run from animal to animal.  As soon as we get to one building she is ready to sprint to the next without ever stopping to look at the animals.  We went to a really cool train show this morning at our Domes (indoor garden).  She just wanted to keep going from building to building.  I felt bad because my little one really wanted to stop and watch the trains. 

Is this something that every three year old goes through or should I be worried?  She plays fine at home and is able to sit and attend to an activity for a fair amout of time.
