Ok, another Crane Humidifier Question

So I went to Target and got the frog humidifier based off of your recommendations.  I noticed it says that it should be elevated but not on a wood surface.  What do you put yours on?

oops... we have it on DD's dresser. I don't know where/what else you could put it on?

It does? I thought the instr. manual said not to put it on a carpeted surface??

We have ours on a night table by the glider in his nursery.

Ours is on the window seat..it is wood. I just put a small kitchen towel underneath it and have had no problems.

we have ours on a stool that is only a foot or so high. still trying to figure out what to put it on...

We have ours on the dresser.  I've never had a problem with it leaking.  Just make sure you have a towel in hand when you pick it up.  The water in the chamber will drip.  I've thought about putting a towel underneath it, but I'm not sure if it would block the vent.

We keep ours on a wooden TV tray.  That way it is elevated on a flat surface and if it leaks on our 9.99 tv tray, oh well!

Good idea!  We actually have a cheap-o dark wood one we could use...

We've put ours on a wood tv try with a cheap plastic placemat under it (to protect the tv tray).

We bought a little wooden step stool from Ross for like $10 to put it on.
