I am now sleeping with 4 pillows to get comfortable, and sleeping on my side, but I keep waking up in the middle of the night with a sore hip - the one I am laying on. I'll have to roll over to the other side to go back to sleep, and then that hip gets sore, wakes me up, and the process continues.
Anyone else? And have you found a way to sleep that fixes it?
Re: sore hips at night anyone?
I don't have a resolution for you but I am in the same boat with you. It seems like I spend more time flipping over than I do actually sleeping and then my hips are sore for a while after I get out of bed too.
ETA: I sleep with a body pillow and two other pillows, always with something between my knees and it hasn't seemed to help much at all.
ohh my gosh...I could have written this post today....last night I slept HORRIBLE and I tried the pillows, etc...and my hips are just SO sore...and just like you said...the one I am laying on...so I will be interested to see what others say
last night I did try to lay on my back, but prompt slightly to the side with a pillow....does that make sense? like somewhere between back and side...and that was ok for a while...but mostly my night consisted of me constantly changing positiions.......ooohhh and getting up to pee
Exactly this.

Glad I'm not the only one!
I've done the pillow between my knees some nights, but didn't last night. I'll try that again tonight and hopefully it will help!
DH's snoring isn't helping either. I wear earplugs at night in order to sleep through it and I don't know what we're going to do when baby comes and I actually need to hear the baby cry. Ugh.
This is me exactly!! I sleep on a body pillow and I have a pillow long ways between my knees but I still flip from side to side all night because of hip pain.
This is happening to me too. I haven't slept well all week. I've been using a body pillow (not a pregnancy-specific one) and it's really just more of a hindrance.
The pillow is like 4' long and just gets in the way- I try to keep it between my knees and underneath my bump, but every time I move I have to move the pillow too. Ugh.
I'm still trying to figure out how to get comfortable- otherwise, I'm in for 5 months of no sleep.
