I have a Facebook friend who got a set of Bumpits for Christmas from her mother-in-law. She's posted repeatedly about how much she loves them.

Now she's posting pictures of herself wearing Bumpits. I'm quite certain that I'm not her only friend snickering at her picture. I know it's mean, but damn it's funny. Poor thing isn't joking either...she's quite serious about her Bumpit love.

i work with a girl who wears her hair pulled back in a tight ponytail everyday.  one day she showed up with her hair half down and a bumpit in?  it was interesting to say the least.

so we had this presenter come in at work and there she was talking to a room full of us and there we were all mesmerized by her bump it.  damn thing was distracting.

I really would love to see someone in a bump it.  Not like on TV or in ads, but a real, live person using it.  Because they look like they'd be impossible to make look right.

PSA to those who want the bump: it's called a teasing comb, hairspray and bobby pins.  I promise it will look better than a bumpit.

I haven't googled this yet but I can imagine what it is BUT it reminded me of something hilarious I wanted to share.....we were skiing last weekend and this woman (ski-bunny-ish, approx. mid 40s) had one of those little faux-hair clip-ons clipped onto her goggle strap on the back of her helmet so that it looked like a coiffed little ponytail growing out of her helmet!! How weird!
