? for ladies who had their water break when preg

It is possible to just leak?  Last night I was in the shower and and i felt stuff come out 3 times.  It didn't have a color.  So I thought it was my water.  But now there is nothing leaking to my knowledge.  Is it possible to start and stop?  TIA

I definitely knew.  First, I felt like I peed.  I was lifting DD into the swing.  Then I realized that I wasn't peeing and I kept leaking.  I also went into labor within an hour.  You can leak and then "seal" back up.  I know a lady who did that with twins, she went 8 more weeks.

I am almost positive that you can leak and lose fluids. When mine broke, I knew for sure.

You can leak. With one of mine, I didn't know that it was my water that broke, but when it didn't stop, I knew.

With the other, it was definite.

For one of my kids, I had the gush.  For one, I apparently was leaking and didn't know.  I had been wearing a pad for a week or so because I had been snissing and I was worried about my water breaking since it broke with my previous pregnancy and figured the pad would help a little.  SO I never really noticed since it was clear and all..I have no clue how long I was leaking...it might have just been one day.  But I went to the hospital because I felt horible and I was in labor, my water was leaking.

With #1 my water broke and I knew it.  With #2 I was leaking all day and knew labor was not far off.  When I went into labor that night they asked me at the hospital if my water had broke and I told them that I thought it had because I had been leaking all day.  Nurses said that leaking doesn't always = broken water bag.  They proceeded to break my water a while later and it was like GUSH!  I couldn't believe that I had leaked all day and still had that much more in there!
