Yeah....Mardi Gras makes me miss Baton Rouge, Lafayette, all of it!

 I actually like Lafayette's Mardi Gras far more than BR.  But I can't dare say that around my BR friends.  They're hardcore Spanish Town fans.

I never went to Spanish Town.  I went to one or two parades in NO and one in Metairie with my then-boyfriend and his family.  Mostly I just miss the excitement surrounding Mardi Gras.  It's a holiday unlike any other.
