My pants don't fit anymore :-)....of course it sucks because i haven't bought any maternity pants yet so I'm stuck with one pair that fits...oh well I never thought I'd be happy to have my pants not fit. :-)
Some people like them, some don't....but I'd recommend getting the BeBand (sometimes called the BellaBand)!! It enables you to wear your normal pants in your pg! I had one in every color offered and it was my saving grace! Maternity pants always fit me funny, esp. the jeans, so I liked the band!! I got one at Target and also at Motherhood/ Pea in the Pod.
I had a Bella Band and liked it. I didn't use it too very much to stretch out the life of my regular pants, but when my mat pants were too big still (but regular didn't fit) I'd put the pants over the mat pants and it would make them fit snugger. I also liked them for after birth, even though I absolutely loved my maternity clothes, I didn't want to be stuck in them if I wasn't pg.
ETA: If you can wait a few days, check ebay first. I bought one new (never wore) and found 2 on ebay for the price of 1 new, returned the new one and saved some money.
Congrats! I got two tummy sleeves from Motherhood Maternity and liked them. (And they're way cheaper than the Bella Bands but do the same thing, according to a friend I know who has both.) They do seem to run a little small though; I was a 10 pre-pg and outgrew the "one size fits all" kind before I was ready to be done with them! They would've been great postpartum since it took several months to fit back into pre-pg clothes, but they were too small.
I have the BeBand (bought at Target for $14) - I actually like it to get more live out of my regular pants, but I'm going to use it for too-big maternity pants as well. I do know that some of my friends did not care for it - but it's worked great for me so far.
I'm actually down to only 2 pairs of pants that still fit comfortably with the BeBand - but they started out a little big for me in the beginning.

This is my first pregnancy, and while I'm slim with a short torso, I feel like I shouldn't be busting out of my clothes already. Seems like most people make the transition closer to 14 wks.
So I'm actually relieved to hear somebody else not fitting into their pre-pregnancy pants at 10 wks.
I started wearing the BeBand yesterday. It's helps, but I seriously think I'll be in full maternity pants by 10 or 11 weeks.
I just hope I'm not gaining too much too fast . . .
I've been in my Beband since about week 10 ("fat" pants prior to that)... That held me over for about a month or so.
I've finally made the full transition to maternity pants this week. I'm pretty glad I did the Beband transition tho, cause I didn't want to be in maternity pants before we even came out!
I have to say, so far I've really enjoyed getting bigger each week
Me: PCOs DH: Perfect!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
I'm also a giant fan of the BeBand. I wore regular pants until 5 weeks, fat pants until 10 weeks, and normal pants+BeBand ever since. (Oh, and dresses as often as I can. Ahhhh leggings.)

Kinda fun though, right? lol. I was done with reg. pants at 10 weeks also. I'm lucky in that I run a home daycare for a living, so never have to worry about office appropriate clothing, etc. I just throw on a pair of yoga pants and a maternity top (regular tops are too short now) and I'm good to go for the day. I agree about the belly band - they're great! You can get them online for relatively cheap.

Comfort is key!
