NTR: So I have to take Methergine-postpartum bleeding

I've been bleeding more than I should, so I started it today. I've taken two doses and the cramps are horrible, and I just feel all weird. MIL is taking care of the kids tonight because I feel so crappy and honestly don't think I could handle getting up with DD every 3 hours.

I have seriously never taken a medicine that made me feel as awful as this.

    I had to take it after a miscarriage, and I remember that it was NOT fun.  Hopefully the cramps will be over very soon and you'll be able to get back to life as normal.

    I'm sorry you're having to deal with this AND a newborn!!

    feel better!  but if you really feel terrible, trust your instincts and call your doc or the labor and delivery where you delivered.
