What do you use for your monthly budget?

DH and I are writing out our budget and trying to see if we can afford a little vacation this summer. What do you use to budget? Does anyone have a good template or program recommendation?

We use excel. We have a monthly budget with our budget amounts and our actuals.

I loooove Microsoft Money. I have all my bills set up with reminders and I can reconcile my checkbook there and budget as far ahead as I need to. It has a ton of other tools too for savings, multiple accounts, etc.

I use mint.com.  I love the way it hooks up to our credit card and bank accounts so I don't have to do anything. and I get text alerts when I close or over our budget.

I use an excel spreadsheet that someone on money matters board sent me years ago.  It works for me, but I have to be on top of it--there is no way for me to remember if I added something, or forgot to add something, etc.
