Pregnant after a Loss

Who has this glider?

I am pretty sure a few girls from here got this glider. It?s like $150 or less at Wal-Mart and the reviews are awesome. They have it down here and instead of going on a hunt for the perfect one and since my options are seriously limited, I am thinking of just going for it.

So my question is are you as pleased as everyone else seems to be with the product?

  • We love it! The company (Stork Craft) sent us the wrong color cushions twice but that wasn't wal mart's fault. Once I figured out who to call, (the company itself, not wal mart) they sent us the correct ones for free.  I think it's comfy and was super easy to put together!

  • Does it swing easily? Or do you have to push much?

Does the padding have lower back support? Or do you think you'll need an additional pillow?

I have a herniated disc, so I'm weird about always having lumbar support in all of my furniture.

  • For the price it is great! The cushions could be thicker - but they are comfortable enough.

FYI though, the arm rests are not very sturdy. DH accidentally broke one already (and the baby isn't even here yet! Way to go right!?) I guess he's a little bit bigger of a guy 6'4 220 lbs, when he was using the arm rests to push himself up to stand it split. Luckily a couple of screws and wood glue fixed it.

Knowing that, I would still buy it... it fits into any budget. Hope you like it!

It swings easily, you really do not have to push much at all. The ottoman is nice too. I think you would want an additional pillow for back support. The cushions aren't that padded, it's fine for me, but if you have a herniated disc you would probably need more support.
