You know the terms that most of us only know from here (but if you're anything like me you've started using them IRL): twatwaffle, interwebz, asshattery, etc...

Are you responsible for introducing any of them? We have some witty women on here and I'm curious who's introduced what.  Own it.  Be proud ladies.

I was on third tri in 2008 when "Labor Buddy" started. I'm almost positive it started when mlarkin went MIA and no one knew what was going on with her, so someone suggested having labor buddies so the bump could be updated. I can't remember who coined the term.

Holy smokes did that sh!t get out of control.  Hahahaha.  Now they're having 2 and 3 labor buddies when they're 4 minutes pregnant. 

When the piggy flu was all the rage on here, I introduced "Hamthrax" and was very flattered when it caught on.

I did have someone quote me for saying to shoot someone else's H in the arm with a staple gun and tell him not to cry b/c that wouldn't be manly. That's quite the honor.

I say Hamthrax in real life - it's gotten a bunch of laughs! Thanks for that one :-D

And laugh if you want... but I swear I started throat punch :-P  (I also invented the internet! Me and Al Gore!) When I was a camp counselor (back in the day - seriously, 10 years ago?) a friend of mine decided that it would be the meanest thing you could do to someone, punch them in the throat.  I've been saying "uuugh, I just want to punch that person in the throat!" ever since then, and said it many times when I was on the knot years ago.

Ok ok, I'm sure I didn't invent it.  But I'd like to think that I could take credit for it

when did you first use that? Because I am pretty sure a gal from my "home board" (STTTC) coined that. we got into a shiit storm with one of the parenting boards and that was thrown out about the "crotchfruit in their siggies". They took it as being derogatory. we just thought it was frickin' hilarious. We use it exclusively now when referring to women with kids.

I remember crotchfruit from anti-children women on my message boards 10 years ago.
