We will be having G's party in June and in FL that means hot! Would you rent a hall or rent a tent for the backyard? People will still be inside but DH's family is pretty big...
Not sure about the cost of the hall but a 15' x 15' tent is $150ish.
DS's birthday is June 4th we are having his party the 5th. were in OH and i know its hotter in FL but normally here it hits mid 80s low 90s. we are having it at the house and setting up tables outside in the garage and renting a tent to fit to extend the garage. we are setting up kiddie pools and a sprinkler for the little kids. and food is in the house in the kitchen. the rule is going to be you cant be in the house unless its for food or bathroom. (theres going to be 40 some people, there is no way they can all be in my house at once, we have a tiny house).
I would probably go with the tent because it's costs less. Since you will probably have more parties to come, I would think about buying one instead of renting. Maybe something like this..? Maybe check sam's club or costco for something inexpensive also.
I was going to rent a pavillion at a local park...but changed my mind. It will be too hot! Now we're planning to rent a room at our local community center.
