If it is just rBGH that is causing concern for you. Check your local and state regulations. It is against the law in Michigan to use growth hormones in dairy products. This doesn't apply to dairy products from other states sold here.
I still buy Organic for DS because my issues with dairy go beyond the hormone issue.
we get our milk from a local farm. the cows are fed with organic feed and it's anti-biotic and hormone free. if we have to buy milk or any dairy from a store we usually get organic b/c they only offer hormone free but not antibiotic free.

When I buy it at the store though, I buy non-organic that does not contain antibiotics or hormones. I refuse to drink ultra-pasteurized milk and that is what most organic brands are.

I said regular, but there is a label on the milk that says the farmers pledge not to use artificial growth hormones.
