Moms who have started milk, come in

If you have started milk, did you give them a little alone in the sippy or did you mix it with formula/BM and then give it to them in a bottle or sippy?  We haven't started anything yet, I'm just looking to see what has worked for you all.

I'm wondering too, but I don't know how many 11-12 monthers we've got left on this board!

We put milk in a sippy by itself.  It's worked well so far.  She doesn't always finish the milk, so we put some in a bottle too, and that's worked.

I have been giving her milk during the day in her sippy, and formula at night in a bottle. She drinks maybe 6-9 oz of reg. milk during the day and then the rest apple juice or water. I am about to start weaning her off the bottle at night, by putting her formula in the sippy for the next weeks or so.

I weaned her off the breast finally at 10 months and started on milk (checked with my pediatrician and she ok'd it).  She seems to be doing really well with it...I put it in a bottle, sometimes a sippy cup!

With my first, I just gave him milk in a sippy at a year.  I didn't mix it with my BM, and he took it with no problems.
