i was just wondering why this is. my ds has only had a diaper rash once when he was on antibiotics and the desitin knocked it right out. i have used other things, but desitin has always worked amazingly well. just wondering why you don't recommend it. thanks!

It's not bad, but it does have these ingrediants:
"Fragrance" is one of the top 29 most common skin allergies and can further irritate diaper rashes. And some will argue that BHA can cause cancer.

ditto - I prefer more natural ingredients on DD, but that's true in our house overall. like, we try to avoid petroleum products, sulfates, fragrance, etc.
I like California Baby and Weleda Baby products, and Burt's Bees, too.
