All alone here tonight...

I guess everyone's getting it on with their DHs... Mine is talking to his mom right now.  Won't see him for another hour, and then, I don't think we'll be in the mood.

 So if you are reading this... tell me how your v-day was and if you got any good surprises/gifts!!

We had fun eating breakfast together today and I made Matt's favorite Beef Stew in the crock pot. I also learned that chocolate covered strawberries are ridiculously easy to make and so addictive!

Happy Valentine's Day Andrea!

 I love making choc covered strawberries - we do that for a lot of special occasions and finally are good at it after burning too much chocolate ha

 We were home today with dude.  We really didn't do much.  Made some sugar cookies but haven't started the royal icing yet (A wasn't cooperating at all) but they are all cut out and ready to go.  Had my sister and family over for cake for her birthday this evening.  We don't do gifts but exchanged cards and Ryan got me some chocolate

My DH left for Phoenix this afternoon, so I'm all alone with the baby tonight.  I got a giftcard for a massage that I'm excited to use.

We just hung out and relaxed in our jammies all day.  It was kind of nice actually!  That is until DS had a major meltdown.  He cried for about an hour and a half.  We have no idea why.  However, it was kind of funny when we thought he might be hungry so I tried to give him a bottle.  He sucked a mouth-full of milk and literally spit it at me.  I took that as a no. 

DH and I don't do gifts but we did do cards this year.  Until DS had his meltdown it was a nice, quiet and relaxing day!

Phoenix is not much different than Mexico where my DH goes...much warmer than here!  I was so jealous last week, I think the coldest it got was 60.  He claims he is working and never gets to enjoy it, but still!!!

Matt gave me flowers and chocolates, so I can't complain.  I got him a nice card, made him some of his favorite foods, and welcomed him home last night with a snow free driveway.  Given the snow and drifting and the fact that I was all alone last week, I think that was pretty cool of me!!

I'm here as well.  It's been a lazy, relaxing day in which we didn't do much of anything.  I snacked on chocolates and gummy bears...I feel it's a completley healthy Valentine's day diet   We don't really do gifts though DH has been a butt and not listening to that lately.  He got me tickets to see Sugarland at the fair.  I'm excited!

Here as well.  Dh took me to dinner last night to Buca's and then today he gave me a gift card for 3 - 1hr. massages!!!  YA'Y, I'm excited to use it.

Popping in for a minute!  I was told about 2 weeks ago that DH wanted Fathead tradeables, but D!cks only had basketball ones when I went on Friday.  So DH decided he wanted to get SNL season 1 on DVD when we were at Target Friday (on sale for $16.99!) then remembered he had a Best Buy GC so he got season 2 as well.  We went to eat last night and had a pitcher of Margaritas, that's so unlike us.  He told me today that he's buying tix to see Daniel Tosh in May!  We spent all day with MIL today.

I'm here!  Tony is in TN and I'll get to see him on Friday.  With our birthdays being on the weeks either side of Valentine's, we decided to spend our birthdays together and skip V-Day.  Plus, he's a chef and their restaurant is very busy this weekend.  They did 400 entrees last night!  I'm waiting for him to be done with things and call me.  He combined my bday and Vday gifts this year and I'll get them next weekend when I'm there.  I did get a very nice card in the mail though.

I'm here too. DH worked all day so the kids and I just hung out watching their new DVD.  DH did surprise me with flowers when he came home though! (we don't usually do much for Valentine's day)

Yeah, that's a huge accomplishment!  I'm nervous with the snow that's supposed to be coming tonight.  I'm not sure how I'll get the driveway shoveled when I'm home alone with Tyson.

We had an awesome night--he took me to the jazz kitchen which was where our first date was and dinner was delicious.  I got a really heartfelt message in my card, Norah Jones tickets, candy, and my flowers will be at work Monday since we got sent home Friday.
