Because of the difference in my follicle sizes (I guess, my head was spinning a bit so I am not sure 100% what he was talking about), the RE I'm seeing this cycle (my regular one is on vacation) wants to do an IUI on Wednesday AND another one on Thursday.
I went in for a follicle check today and he said my ovaries are finally responding "almost too well" this cycle. A lot of follicles, many of which won't mature and pop, but several that are actually in contention.
I go back in tomorrow for another follicle check and we'll decide at that point if we're doing b2b IUIs or just one on Thurs or Wed.
Re: Doing back-to-back IUIs this week.
I never did back to back but see it as a good thing. Why not? Right?
Good luck!!

I always did b2b IUI my doctors reasons for it was what if you have not ovulate yet, and the third time, when I got pregnant with the triplets I did not ovulate till after my second IUI. I was still temping, doing my charts so I knew I had not O'd yet. It hurt like Hell the day I ovulated. I had to go home and go to bed, I could not even walk. Turns out I was over stimulated. If you have that many follicles it may be more painful this month.
Good Luck girl you deserve this. also if it helps I almost did not do my third IUI I was on the fence about moving to IVF, I wanted to, re did not, she wanted one more IUI. I agreed, we did the one more IUI and well that was all it took..
good luck
