We chose this name as well and now have been hearing it allllll over the place!!!  Oh well, I'm not super worried about how popular certain names are- we love our LO's name and it was not easy agreeing on one, so we're not bending now!!

Yeah....   I went to my friend's baby's baptism and all 5 of the babies getting baptized that day were named Mason.

I am curious to see where it falls on the Social Security Administrations list for 2009.  In 2008 it was 35.  It has been creeping up little by little in popularity every year.  In 1999 it was #71.

I wonder too.  We picked the name because it wasn't super popular.  DS was born the end of 08 so he'll probably be in the same grade as those born in 09.
