My DD never really does this anymore, but when she did, it didn't seem to effect the sleep training. I would just roll with it and not be so careful putting her down because if she woke up, she would just roll over and go to sleep anyway.
Sometimes and no. If he wakes up in the middle of the night he is legitimately hungry or soaking wet. Either way, I can put him back in the crib when he's awake and he'll go to sleep on his own.

Yes and yes.
I think she learned to fall asleep with the last feed and then when she'd wake up in the middle of the night, she'd want to do it again.
Two nights ago, we switched up the bedtime routine, so she eats and then bathes (vs bath then eat). It seems to be working.
