Very, very disappointed the the Percy Jackson movie.

For those of you who are thinking about reading the book series and also wanting to watch the movie, let me do you a favor.  See the movie first then read the book, not the other way around.  Basically the main characters share a name and everything else is different.  The movie was good seperately and I really, really enjoyed the books but just not as a team. lol.

    I know, right?!  Because I read the book first I was extremely disappointed.  Chris C. can suck it.

    Thanks for the warning. I read the first book and enjoyed it and I hate it when they mess up books on film.

    I hate when they screw up the movie compared to the book. I've never read Percy Jackson though.

    On a mythological note, I hate the movie Troy compared to the book. It's still a good movie, but it's nothing like the book by Adele Geras.

    I agree!  They at least hit major plot points though.  lol.  Chris C. decided to make up his own plot points...

    He does that. Did it in both the Harry Potter movies he directed. Bugged the crap out of me since the books are so amazing and definitely didn't need his "help."

    lol.  no worries.  It is young adult fiction.  The first movie is called Percy Jackson and the Lightening Bolt Thief.
