I agree w/the pp's: I don't know why it would be a problem. Heck, you'd sterilize new bottles before you used them the first time anyway, right?
That said, if it's really bothering you, it's not like bottles are the most expensive item out there, even when bought new. But if the cost savings is enough to make it worth it for you, I say go for it.

I might have misread the question but when I think of bm storage I think of the freezer. We have a tiny freezer and it's already packed with tons of bags. I wouldn't want to use bottles because I would think they would take up more space and be less flexible in storage. So I'd stick with my bags.
ETA: So I did misread the question. The question was about the used part. I wouldn't mind used but I would probably just buy new, especially since I like my bag system.

Nothing wrong with buying used and sterilizing, but I chose no because
1) New ones are inexpensive
2) You can get used ones for free, why spend money?
