If they invite themselves on a Friday night...do I really have to clean? UGH!!! My house is a disaster on Friday nights...all the little things add up and it practically takes us all of Saturday to catch up. I could have had a nice long nap!!

    I wouldn't worry about it!  This is not to dis my MIL at all, but I know that even on our messiest days, our place looks cleaner than hers.  LOL...

    I would just straighten up- I throw stuff like laundry/mail etc on our bed in a basket and close the door, ha!

    don't go crazy... i'm sure they understand! if it were my inlaws it would be a no... their house is always a mess
