Hi Ladies,
I am trying to write a letter to my boss and all of sudden my mind has turned to mush. Can someone help me put into words correctly whtat I am trying to get accross.
I want to say she has been very important and responsible for the work person I am today. I have been there 9 years and have learned so much from her and my compassion and knowledge are all a result of her.
How do I say this?
Re: Letter to boss-help please
Need more context--are you quitting? Just want to say thanks? What you said so far sounds pretty good.
You can talk about how her leadership has helped you become the professional you are today. You've learned a great deal from her knowledge of the field, compassion for others and passion for the work.
It would probably also make her feel good to say that you hope you can teach others the way she has taught you.
