My LO has developed this habit of refusing one of the breasts and shoving her fist in her mouth so far she gags herself.  I usually have to pry her fingers away and keep offering but it's a complete struggle every time!  Has anyone dealt with this?  If so, what did you do and do you know why LO was doing it?

It could be that she's on comfortable laying on that side. Have you tried another hold/positions?

Yeh, I tried switching from cradle to football and it didn't work.  Not sure why she's doing this all of a sudden?

I have no idea... DD prefers my left side because it is bigger, so she can eat and move around a little more... she's got more stretch to it. But she's never outright refused one side consistently.

DD prefered my left side at first. I finally figured out that it was because I produce less on my right side and the letdown is slower so she was having to work harder. I just kept offering and eventually she got used to it. Now my two sides are much more even.
