Holy Blowout!!

So DD hadn't pooped in a few days...fine.  Well I get home from shopping pick her up and I can feel her pants are wet.  No big deal.  I put the changing pad under her and lift her sweater and the onesie underneath is covered in poop up to her chest.  I take the diaper off (very carefully) and it drips poop on my carpet UGH!!  I'm home all alone trying to figure out how to get her to the kitchen sink to wash her off.  It was ridiculous!  I finally get her to the kitchen clean her off and go back in my room where my dog took the poopy diaper out of the bag I had put it in and is now eating the diaper and getting poop all over my carpet!!  If I didn't laugh at this situation I would have had to cry.  I'm telling my dad about this situation and he lets me know I used to do this once a week for about a year...fantastic!!

  • I'm sorry that happened, but that is hilarious! I'll have to tell DH that the poopy diaper he's currently changing is not as bad as he thinks!

  • Haha! We had a similar blowout (minus the carpet and dog issue) earlier this week. I'm glad you were able to find the humor in ths situation!
  • Wow...thank you for the good laugh!!  I feel bad for you and your carpet...since you have a dog...hopefully you have a little Bissell Spot remover (they should come with a dog, LOL)...they will get poop outta carpet...however poop outta your dog...ick.  :P
  • This happened to me the other day while I was feeding DD. I was also home alone. Poop all over the Boppy pillow, her, and me. Her onesie was so covered I actually considered cutting it off rather than trying to take it off over her head. It was definitely a challenge to not spread the mess even more while trying to fill the bathtub and get her in. Thanks for the perspective! At least I didn't have to deal with a dog and dirty carpet!
