I am applying for a new job today

It is still in the hospital but it is Full Time, no evenings, no weekends. It is not a job that I ever thought I would want to do but the perks are too good to not apply.

The job is in the Stores department (basically taking care of the supplies for all of the hospital departments)

My current job is driving me absolutely insane and the evenings and weekends suck big time. Plus being part time is stressful because I never know what hours I am getting or how big or small my pay checks will be.

So we'll see what happens.

My husband is going through the same thing right now!  His hours are random (which we don't mind too bad), but the varying paychecks and no benefits suck.  (He's "per diem".)  He's supposed to learn if he go a full-time, benefited position soon.

Good luck to you, Dee!  I'm hoping you get it and it ends up being an awesome job!
