I'm a lazy mom today!

I feel bad - we are snowed in and I'm already house bound crazy from having a 2 week old and now I have two home all week.  I'm not used to being a stay at home mom - I work - so DS is still in daycare a couple days a week while I have the new baby to give me a break - but with all this snow - he is here and we can't do any outdoor activities - honestly I take him and the baby for a quick walk everyday just to get us out and about.  But nope - he is literally running in circles w/ energy - luckily DH took him out in the snow to play (I can't take a baby out in the snow!).  We watched a lot of TV today (GUILT!).  Nothing worked - we did a puzzle, read, played dominos, played cars, hide and seek, we made dinner together, - he didn't want to color or do a craft so TV it was.

i'm going stir crazy and we're not even snowed in.  we've just had a lot of rain.  i usually work too, but i'm home till may.  dh is a sahd so he's used to changing up the day and finding ways to escape boredom.  anyway, it sounds like you tried a bunch of stuff.  no reason to feel guilty.

Oh well, you've spent time with them and that's all that matters .  I think us moms deserve a lazy day every now and then.  I had one today too... I finally got the motivation to do the dishes!
