What was the 6 week growth spurt like for your LO?

I guess we are going through it now. For the past few days, DS wants to eat almost every hour and a half. If he's awake other than eating, he's almost always crying. I have to shush and rock him to get him to calm down/sleep and he doesn't sleep very long! I'm exhausted. If this is what it is, I hope it ends soon. What was your experience? How did you get through it?

It was a doozy!! Exactly like you described. The vacuum cleaner got us through it! I'm not kidding! Give it a shot! Would stop the screaming immediately!

It seems like my LO is a week behind schedule because this is what we are going through this week!!!!

This is exactly us today too. I've been camped out in front of the tv with DD on my boob all day long.

YES!! This is what's been happening in our home the past couple days, too! First she was sleeping like crazy and now she's eating like crazy. And when she's not eating or sleeping she's crying and farting, the poor thing.

I just feel terrible because I feed him, burp him, change him, try to play with him, etc and he just cries

Same with us!  He's eating like we are starving him!

something i did just earlier that worked like a charm was feed her and then put her in the moby and vacuum! she fell asleep immediately and hard!! NO CRYING!

Our LO had slept great two nights in a row only waking up twice to eat and I thought well isn't this just a slice of heaven...well now I am sure if I breathed on them my nipples would fall off. I hope this growth spurt goes by fast...yea right.

I think my LO is going through this early- he is 6 wks this coming Tuesday.  Hope it doesn't last extra long!  He is downright inconsolable. Today I was really down about it, worrying that he just isn't happy by nature.  Ugh!
