Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Exercise=success (with help of Moby wrap)

I have been trying to get on the treadmill for 3 days, but every time I hop on, DD wakes up and wants to be held.  So this afternoon after 2 failed attempts to exercise while she napped, I finally put on my Moby and let her 'exercise' with me.  She was out within 10 minutes of me hopping on the treadmill and slept the rest of my 45 minute walk plus about an hour after. I feel so much better after getting some much needed exercise!

Newborn Hug Hold.  I still kept one arm around her and the other on the treadmill grip.  I wouldn't ever try to run like that, but I prefer just to put the incline all the way up and walk a quick pace anyway.

  • What a great idea!! DD is already 13lbs so it may kill my back or really tone my tush and legs (it's like lifting weights) I don't have a moby. I wonder if the baby bjorn would work well?! Thanks for the tip
  • I thought about doing this, but LO hates the moby & the carrier I have is still too big for her, so I will have to try this when she gets a bit bigger & use the carrier.
