I got to cut the cord!

I had my first doula baby born since I gave birth myself.  It was awesome, the mom did great (7 hours of active labor and 20 min of pushing for her first baby!)  And I got to cut the cord, which was fun, since I will probably never cut my own cord.  Things worked out really well with getting childcare for T, which was a huge concern.

I forgot how exciting childbirth is when you aren't the one giving birth!

I was *this close* to doing a doula training, but between working full time & Charlie (& now baby #2) I just don't think it would work Maybe in my next lifetime, lol
