I am too cynical and negative to even try

To respond to some posts.

When people make up stories to make themselves feel better about the craptastic situations they get themselves into again and again, and think that somehow God is micromanaging their lives, but that somehow the blessing of being a mother will change everything, I laugh.

But again, it might just be that the split seam in my pants has made me bitchier than usual.

    in order to save my frienship with my bff, i have to bite my tounge and hold my snark for later.

    i love her to death, but she is really bad at prioritizing.

    It might just be that she drives me nuts.  She tends to blame everything on the ex and other 'bad actors' in her life.  It sounds like a whole lot of not-accepting-responsibility to me.  And she talks about how hard it is going to be to find a new boyfriend a lot which drives me bonkers.  

    Or, I am just not a good person today.  Entirely possible.

    My Opinion (whether you want it or not):

    The post by itself is not that bad. Even when people are obviously lying to themselves, sometimes THEY NEED to be positive in a shitstorm of negative.

    Post taken in context of OP's previous posts and attitude, may be an entirely diffferent story and for that I have no opinion as I don't know her.

    Yeah, I just get bothered when people try to say that everything that happens is b/c of God. That God put her in a relationship with a d-bag so that she could learn from it, yadda, yadda, yadda. I just don't agree with that. Yes she is trying to see the positive, but I don't know that I believe God orchestrates our lives that completely.

    Some people do believe that. I'm not saying I'm one of them, but if that's what someone else believes, it isn't my place to contradict it.

    BGG, you're a great person. I don't know the girl, so I am only seeing the post as an isolated incident, not with any sort of history or knowledge :)
