HELP!! Similac Sensitive RS and MAJOR gas!!!

So, my 2 month old is on this formula for reflux. He is given probiotics once a day and mylicon with each bottle. The problem is.....about one or two bottles a day he gets EXTREMELY gassy. I have to use a level 3 nipple on a dr. brown bottle to get the formula out. I think that the flow is SO fast that it hits his stomach hard. ANY SUGGESTIONS OR CLUES??!! TIA!

    I used similac RS (before switching to alimentum) and it came out just fine in the born free level 1 bottles, maybe try switching bottles, level 3 seems awfully high

    We had the same problem when we were using that formula. I found out it has rice starch in it, which can clog the nipples. The Similac website suggested mixing the formula in a separate container instead of the bottle. HTH

    Thanks for the suggestions! I am going to try a level 1 or 2 and mix in a seperate container!! Thanks ladies!!!
